From Beyond the Mind: The Gift of Intuition

Society today often feels overwhelmingly data-driven. Our minds can become preoccupied with endless streams of information coming from countless sources. And this information isn’t neutral. It’s saturated with opinions, agendas, and messages designed to influence what you buy, what you believe, and how you see the world.

So where does that leave you?
Where is your ground, your center?
What is your vision or purpose?

Surprisingly, the answer does not arise from more information or deeper analysis. It cannot be forced through intense thinking. A direction may look perfectly “reasonable” on paper, yet hold no real attraction for you. You can often feel this quite clearly in your body — a flatness, a lack of energy, a quiet resistance. That’s because the source of vital life choices does not come from mental activity.

Instead, it arises from within — as a nonverbal vision, a strong and immediate feeling, an inner knowing. This is intuition.

Intuition shows itself in many ways. It may be a wordless resonance with a path, an interest, or even a person. Often, external obstacles seem secondary, almost irrelevant, because the direction is pursued wholeheartedly — a wonderfully accurate expression. There is no hesitation, no inner bargaining. It simply feels like what you must do.

Yet, paradoxically, something so powerful and life-shaping can remain hidden beneath a restless mind. Constant internal noise can drown out these subtle but clear signals. This is where the practice of awareness becomes essential.

An intentional awareness practice quiets the mental chatter. As the stream of commentary softens, space opens. In that space, you can begin to listen — not with the mind, but with the whole of yourself. The stirrings of the heart become perceptible. And in this quiet clarity, intuition begins to appear more regularly, not as something mysterious or rare, but as a steady, trustworthy guide in daily life.
