Our Kirtan Leader Bios:

Geoff Barkley has studied with Swami Vishnudevananda, Sufi Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and Zen Roshin David Radin. His yoga master is Swami Venkatesananda, a direct disciple of Swami Sivananda. Chanting has been an important part of his life for over 50 years. Geoff plays harmonium and Native American Flute.

Martha Williamson has been participating in kirtans since the early 1990’s, first at Siddha Yoga meditation centers in Maine, then transitioning to chants leaning more towards Kundalini Yoga following a move to New Hampshire in 1998. Moving once again in 2017, this time to be close to aging parents, she discovered a robust kirtan community in Charlottesville, Virginia, and currently plays drums, harmonium, and occasionally tamboura or violin for various groups in the area.

We look forward to seeing you at our events.
